Biden statement welcomes formation of new government in Ukraine
KIEV, Dec. 3 – U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden said that he welcomes the formation of a new government in Ukraine.
"The Ukrainian people demonstrated their clear preference for democracy, political and economic reform, and self-determination at the ballot box during the October 26 parliamentary elections. Today's announcement on the formation of a new government sets the stage for the difficult but necessary process of implementing reforms and delivering results," Biden said in a statement posted on the website of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. |
Finance minister calls for ASAP IMF talks
