Russia behind both attacks on Hungarians

KYIV, March 5 – Russia was behind both recent attacks on a Hungarian cultural center in the western city of Uzhgorod that was aimed at tarnishing Ukraine’s reputation in Europe, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin suggested Monday.

US to provide $37.5 million to Ukraine this year for AIDS relief

KIEV, March 2 – The United States will provide $37.5 million to Ukraine in 2017 as part of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

According to a report of the Public Health Center of Ukraine's Health Ministry, some $5.6 million is provided to procure medicines and medical products. Some 15,000 antiretroviral therapy courses to expand treatment, 4,000 annual courses for pre-contact prevention and 100,000 quick tests will be procured.

KIEV, March 5 – The National Bank of Ukraine has increased its restrictive measures to stabilize the hryvnia exchange rate, in particular, by banning the withdrawal of dividends from the country and restricting the purchase of foreign currency on the domestic market by banks and their clients.
