US to provide $37.5 million to Ukraine this year for AIDS relief
KIEV, March 2 – The United States will provide $37.5 million to Ukraine in 2017 as part of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
According to a report of the Public Health Center of Ukraine's Health Ministry, some $5.6 million is provided to procure medicines and medical products. Some 15,000 antiretroviral therapy courses to expand treatment, 4,000 annual courses for pre-contact prevention and 100,000 quick tests will be procured. |
