U.S. allocates $68-mln to help Ukraine get rid of excess munitions

WASHINGTON, April 6 – From 2004 to 2020, the United States allocated over $68 million to help Ukraine get rid of stockpiles of munitions which are excess, aging, potentially unstable, and no longer suitable for use and representing proliferation threat to the country and the region, according to the State Department's annual report on the U.S. participation in the destruction of conventional weapons.


Ukraine says seeks to join NATO alliance
