Ukraine needs weapons for counteroffensive
KYIV, July 5 - President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN he wanted a counteroffensive against occupying Russian forces to have started sooner than it did in June and that he had urged Western allies to quicken the supply of weapons for that mission, Reuters reported Wednesday citing excerpts via a translator.

Ukraine, Bulgaria agree to cooperate in nuclear power sector
KYIV, July 6 – Ministers of Energy of Ukraine and Bulgaria Herman Haluschenko and Rumen Radev signed a memorandum on expanding cooperation in the energy sector, which, in particular, provides for deepening cooperation between states in the areas of the nuclear fuel cycle and extending the operational life of nuclear power units.

U.S. may send cluster munitions to Ukraine
WASHINGTON, July 6 - The Biden administration has decided to provide cluster munitions to Ukraine and is expected to announce on Friday that the Pentagon will send thousands as part of a new military aid package worth up to $800 million for the war effort against Russia, The Associated Press reported citing people familiar with the decision.
