BRUSSELS, Sept 5 - Ukraine’s prime minister on Monday urged the European Union to stand firm against Russian energy “blackmail” and appealed for more weapons, including aircraft, for the war-ravaged country even as EU armament stocks run low.

NBU raises key rate on inflation worries

KYIV, Sept 6 - Ukraine’s central bank raised its key policy rate by half a percentage point on Thursday and said inflation could only be kept in check if the government secured more IMF aid, Reuters reported.
