KYIV, Dec 4 – Some 79% of Ukrainians support idea of mass testing of the population and mandatory isolation of identified patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19), according to results of a survey conducted by the Sociological Group Rating from November 27 to December 1.

Parliament votes to increase Ukraine’s territorial waters to 24-mile in Black Sea

KYIV, Dec 6 – Parliament has adopted a measure on the adjacent zone of Ukraine, which will actually increase the territory of control in the Black Sea.

The corresponding bill (No. 8361) in the second reading and in general was supported by 244 deputies at a plenary session of parliament on December 6.


Cabinet proposes higher deficit ceiling in 2018 at UAH 81.8-bln

KYIV, Dec 5 - The Cabinet of Ministers proposed increasing the ceiling deficit of the 2018 national budget by UAH 3.9 billion, to UAH 81.8 billion, according to the amended draft law on the 2018 national budget.
