Winter crops in good or satisfactory shape, says agriculture minister

KIEV, Feb. 27 – From 92% to 93% of the winter crops in Ukraine are in good or satisfactory condition, Agriculture Minister Yuriy Melnyk said.

The minister also said this year the sowing campaign started two weeks earlier than last year, due to a warm weather spell.
