Ukraine suspends air traffic with Belarus after forced Ryanair plane landing

KYIV, May 26 – Ukraine suspended air traffic with Belarus beginning on May 26, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Tuesday.

"From 24:00 on May 26, Ukraine stops air communication with Belarus," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.

KIEV, June 5 – The 2016 national budget will increase defense expenditures, President Petro Poroshenko said.

"No matter how difficult it is, we will have to increase the defense spending in the 2016 budget," Poroshenko said in his annual address to Parliament on Thursday, adding that "the threat of large-scale military activities in Donbas still exists."
