Zelensky asks partners to remove taboos on weapons supply to Ukraine

KYIV, May 4 – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on partners to remove all taboos on weapons supply to Ukraine.

"The more powerful the weapon and the longer the fire range is, the more lives are saved from enemy strikes. So, cherishing the value of life and maintaining defensive taboos among allies who are supposed to protect life – is an obvious contradiction," he said in his address to the Dutch Parliament on Thursday.


Ukraine to get $42.2-bln in financial assistance in 2023

KYIV, May 8 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects $42.2 billion in international financial assistance in 2023 and its reduction to $26.4 billion in 2024 and to $16.8 billion in 2025, according to the estimates given in the Inflation Report of the central bank.

KIEV, April 7 – Parliament on Tuesday passed without discussion at second reading draft laws on amendments to the Budget Code on state investment projects (No. 2258) and on amendments to some Ukrainian laws on the protection of investors' rights (No. 2259) the approval of which is a pre-condition for receiving $500 million from the World Bank under the Development Policy Loan (DPL), and $300 million from the Japanese government.
