Belarus and Ukraine in consultations over Ukrainian ID cards
MINSK, March 9 – The visa-free regime between Ukraine and Belarus hasn't changed, but Minsk intends to hold consultations with Kiev over the use of Ukrainian ID cards under the current agreement, Belarus foreign ministry spokesman Dmitry Mironchik told Interfax-West. |

Government to restrict movement of Russians to border checkpoints
KIEV, March 5 - As of March 16, Russians will be temporarily allowed to enter Ukraine through international and inter-country checkpoints only.
"…To impose temporary restrictions on the crossing of the Ukrainian national border by residents of Russian border regions. As of March 16, 2015, Russian Federation citizens who live in border regions will be allowed to enter Ukraine via international and inter-country checkpoints only, using their foreign travel documents, and to stay in Ukraine up to 90 days during a 180-day period from the date of first entry," according to a Ukrainian Cabinet decree dated March 4.

Ukraine's reserves shrank 12.4% last month, according to NBU report
KIEV, March 5 – Ukraine's international reserves decreased by 12.4% in February, to $5.625 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
"Given the fact that Ukraine is expecting a positive decision from the International Monetary Fund on providing a new fiscal aid package on March 11 this year, at present Ukraine's international reserves are sufficient to fulfill its commitments and the government's and the NBU's current operations in a short term," reads the report. |
Cabinet of ministers worsens macroeconomic forecast for current year
KIEV, March 5 – The Cabinet of Ministers has worsened its macroeconomic forecast for 2015, expecting Ukraine's GDP fall to hit 11.9%.
The corresponding forecast was stipulated in government decree No. 76 of February 14, the text of which is available on the Cabinet website. |
'We don't understand what's going on,' official says of Russian gas
BRUSSELS, March 5 – Ukraine continues to accuse Russia of illegally supplying gas to the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine.
