U.S. to send $1.2-bln in weapons to Ukraine
WASHINGTON, May 9 - The U.S. will provide $1.2 billion more in long-term military aid to Ukraine to further bolster its air defenses as Russia continues to pound Ukraine with drones, rockets and surface-to-air missiles, the Pentagon said Tuesday.

Ukraine’s Cabinet approves $1.6-bln in international multilateral financing
KYIV, May 9 – The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the attraction of financing up to $1.6 billion from international financial institutions, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said following a meeting on Saturday.
According to the government's press service, in particular, it was approved to raise funds from the World Bank Group's International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA) for a total amount of up to $1.5 billion.

Ukraine’s economy is likely to contract 30% on year in 2022, EBRD says
KYIV, May 10 - Ukraine's GDP will probably fall 30% in 2022, and the country's economy will grow by 25% next year, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) published such an updated forecast on Tuesday, while in March it estimated this year's decline at 20%, and growth in the next year at 23%.
