Olympiysky Euro 2012 makeover cost from $560 to $585 million, says DPM

KIEV, Oct. 10 – Reconstruction of the main arena of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship – Olympiysky National Sport Complex has cost Ukraine $560 million - 585 million, Deputy Prime Minister - Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov said.

"When we complete the east stand, hospitality areas, approaches to the stadium – I will name the final amount.

Government plans to increase subsidies to coal industry next year

KIEV, Oct. 10 - The government plans to increase state subsidies to the coal industry by 14.4% to UAH5.8 billion in 2007, compared with UAH5.07 billion in 2006, the finance ministry said Tuesday.
