Russia continues blocking ships in Kerch Strait, Ukrainian border service reports

KYIV, Dec 7 – The Russian Federation, contrary to international law, continues hindering the passage of ships through the Kerch Strait, and many ships have crowded near the strait, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has reported.


PM Groysman calls for scrapping gender inequality in wages

KYIV, Dec 7 — Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said it is necessary to discontinue gender inequality in payments for labor.

In his address to the Second Ukrainian Women's Congress in Kyiv on December 7, Groysman said that gender inequality has long since been neglected in Ukraine.

CIS will annul trade preferences over EU deal, Russian rep says

Donetsk separatist enclave resumes coal supply to unoccupied Ukraine

DONETSK/KIEV, Dec. 10 – The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic has resumed coal supplies to Ukraine.

"At 17:00 today, we completely resumed coal supplies to Ukraine," DPR Transport Minister Semyon Kuzmenko told Interfax on Wednesday.


SBU holds 3 planning 'terrorist attacks'

PM: Kiev is 'fully armed' for debt litigation against Russians

KIEV, Dec. 9 – If Russia sues Ukraine regarding a $3 billion debt, Kiev is ready to litigate, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.

"If Russia goes to court to file a motion against Russia, we are ready to litigate with Russia, we are fully armed," Yatseniuk said at a government meeting on Wednesday evening.
