Ukraine, G7, Global South held secret meeting to back Peace Formula: report

KYIV, Jan 9 – A secret meeting took place in December between Ukraine, its Group of Seven allies and a small group of Global South countries to try to rally support for Kyiv's conditions for holding peace talks with Russia, Bloomberg has reported.

Ukraine restores backup power supplies to Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant

KYIV, Jan 9 – The backup power supply to the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) was restored on Friday evening after repairs to the 330 kilovolt (kV) line, which was disconnected last week due to damage caused by shelling, were completed, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has said.


Ukraine to spend $3.3-bln to service foreign debt in 2023, ministry says

KYIV, Jan 9 – Payments on the state debt of Ukraine in 2023 under the agreements in force at the beginning of the year will amount to UAH 658.4 billion, or $18 billion at the current exchange rate, but on the external debt – only UAH 122.4 billion, or $3.3 billion, the Ministry of Finance reported.

KYIV, Jan 6 - Ukraine has received about UAH 1 trillion from international partners in 2022, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"We received about UAH 1 trillion from our international partners," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
