Ukraine may keep F-16 jets at foreign bases
KYIV, June 10 - Ukraine may keep some of the F-16 fighter jets it’s set to receive from its Western allies at foreign bases to protect them from Russian strikes, a senior Ukrainian military officer said Monday.

Kakhovka flooding destroys 500 MW of renewable energy capacity
KYIV, June 9 – The destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) and the flooding of large areas in connection with this caused damage, according to preliminary estimates, to at least 500 MW of RES capacities in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, including in the temporarily occupied territory, Artem Semenyshyn, head of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, believes.

Zelenskyy, Japan’s Kishidi discuss Kakhovka disaster, demining
KYIV, June 9 – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a call with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, the President's Office press service said on Friday.
"The head of the Ukrainian state thanked Fumio Kishidi for Japan's support in organizing his recent visit to Hiroshima to participate in the G7 leaders' summit. Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed the Japanese presidency with the successful results of the G7 summit, at which, in particular, important decisions were made to further consolidate international support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression," the presidential press service said.

Ukraine recaptures villages in Donetsk
KYIV, June 11 - Ukraine’s military on Sunday reported recapturing several villages in the Donetsk region as Russian forces claimed to repel multiple attacks in the area, The Associated Press reported.

US to send $250-mln in weapons to Ukraine

EC disburses EUR 500-mln to Ukraine after IMF approves loan
KYIV, June 10 – The European Commission, after the approval by the IMF Executive Board of a new Stand-By Arrangement for Ukraine on Wednesday, provided Kyiv with EUR 500 million in the framework of the fourth macro-financial assistance, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said.
