NBU official pledges to stop ‘unnatural’ hryvnia fluctuations

KIEV, May 12 – The National Bank of Ukraine is ready to stop “unnatural” hryvnia exchange rate fluctuations and promises to provide access to currency to the public and businesses, according to Volodymyr Krotiuk deputy governor.


Ukrainians to subject citizens of 90 countries to financial checks

KIEV, May 12 – The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution amending the entry procedure for foreigners and people without citizenship coming to Ukraine, leaving it or crossing it.

The decision was backed by a resolution of May 6, 2009 (No. 445), the cabinet's Web site reports.
