EC enlargement commissioner pledges EU support for reforms in Ukraine

KIEV, July 12 - European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn at a meeting with President Petro Poroshenko has assured the president the European Union would further support reforms in Ukraine, the presidential press service has said.


IMF team completes negotiations with Kiev

KIEV, July 12 – An International Monetary Fund team has completed negotiations with the Ukrainian government and will now report to the board of directors, which will decide on whether to resume lending to the country.


73% of Ukrainians disapprove of Poroshenko actions, survey shows

Ukraine finance ministry cites progress in debt restructuring talks

KIEV, July 10 – The Finance Ministry said that progress has been made in the negotiations on Ukraine's foreign debt restructuring.

"The step that we made last week – the confidentiality arrangement – is important, but not enough. We are to hold further talks," Deputy Finance Minister for European Integration Artem Shevalev said at a briefing on Thursday.
