Finance Ministry reports on progress in talks with IMF over corruption
KYIV, July 9 – The Ukrainian delegation in Washington and representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held a number of meetings and agreed on the positions of the sides on a number of issues, in particular on anti-corruption reform, corporate governance reform and the independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), but negotiations regarding the conclusion of the staff level agreement will continue.

Five parties show enough support for entering Parliament, poll shows
KYIV, July 9 – Five political parties – the Servant of the People, the European Solidarity, the Opposition Platform - For Life, the Batkivschyna, and the Strength and Honor would overcome the 5% barrier if the elections to the Verkhovna Rada were held next Sunday, according to the findings of a sociological survey conducted by the SOCIS Center for Social and Marketing Research on June 25-30, 2021.

Zelenskiy: Nord Stream 2 jeopardizes EU’s energy security

KIEV, July 12 - A summit between top Ukrainian and European Union officials to take place over the next two days in Kiev is likely to end without a final joint communiqué because of Dutch objections over wording that the EU “acknowledges Ukraine’s European aspirations,” Politico reported. |
