U.S., U.K., EU to help Ukraine with public investment management

KYIV, June 12 – The Government of Ukraine, the United States, the UK and the European Commission, in collaboration with members of the Multilateral Donor Coordination Platform, plan to develop a new project preparation framework to support public investment management in Ukraine, according to a joint communique from the platform's debut ministerial meeting on June 11 in Berlin.


Zelenskyy, Kishida sign deal for Japan to provide $4.5-bln within 10 years

KYIV, June 13 – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio have signed an Accord on Support for Ukraine and Cooperation between Ukraine and the Government of Japan on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Italy. The document is valid for ten years and provides for Japan's assistance in the form of $4.5 billion and non-lethal equipment.


U.S., Ukraine sign 10-yr security agreement

KYIV, June 13 - President Joe Biden and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a 10-year security agreement Thursday that they hailed as a milestone in relations between their countries, but that alone was not enough to stop Zelenskyy from wondering how much longer he could count on America’s support.


Russia destroys 20% of Ukraine’s telecommunications infrastructure

KYIV, June 11 – Russia has destroyed more than 20% of Ukraine’s telecommunication infrastructure since invading the country on February 24, Yuriy Schyhol, head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, said.


EBRD to provide EUR50-mln loan to Ukrzaliznytsia to help with liquidity

EC to urge EU candidate status for Ukraine

BRUSSELS, June 13 - The European Commission will recommend granting Ukraine official status as an EU candidate country, Politico reported Monday citing several officials familiar with deliberations that took place during a debate among commissioners earlier in the day.
