EU envoy voices concern on Yulia jailing

KIEV, Dec. 13 - A European Union envoy, on a mission to Ukraine to save the December 19 summit from failure, said on Tuesday he had voiced serious concern again to President Viktor Yanukovych over the jailing of opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, Reuters reported.


Chernobyl exclusion zone should be open to visitors, says Baloha

KIEV, Dec. 12 – The exclusion zone near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant should be as open and accessible to the public as possible, Emergencies Minister Viktor Baloha said.
