KIEV, Feb. 5 – Operators of the Ukrainian and Polish gas transport systems – Ukrtransgaz and Gaz-System S.A. – are considering designing a feasibility study on the construction of interconnection gas pipelines between the two countries.

Ukrtransgaz reported that the issue was discussed at a meeting of a joint working group of the Ukrainian and Polish companies.

On December 17, Ukrtransgaz and Gaz-System signed a cooperation agreement on the preparation of a feasibility study for the project on the merger of the Polish and Ukrainian gas transport systems.
