KIEV, Jan. 19 - Ukraine cut electricity exports by 18.4% in 2014 to 8.053 billion kilowatt-hours, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.
Ukraine exported electricity worth $487.186 million in 2014, down 16% from $580.195 million exported in 2013, according to the State Fiscal Service.
Electricity exports to Hungary last year amounted to $229.673 million, exports to Belarus stood at $161.218 million, Moldova at $54.301 million, and other countries (Poland, Slovakia, and Romania) at $41.994 million.
