KIEV, Jan. 10 - A plan aimed at the prevention and combating of bird flu has been developed and implemented in Ukraine following an outbreak of the disease in Turkey, Ukraine's Deputy Health Minister, chief sanitary doctor Serhiy Berezhnov said.

"The plan has been developed and implemented and the situation is under control. However, the threat remains real," he said quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
