BRUSSELS, Jan. 15 – The crisis in Ukrainian-Russian relations threatens the security of Europe and the whole world, Latvian Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma told the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Russian actions against Ukraine aren't just a bilateral issue, she said.
According to Straujuma, the best way to resolve the crisis is to support EU unity. The EU must insist on this principle, Straujuma said in her concluding speech, based on the results of a discussion on Latvia's chairmanship of the EU for January-June 2015.
