BRUSSELS, Jan. 10 ??“ The European Union will make efforts to complete visa facilitation and repatriation negotiations with Ukraine early in 2006, according to the Operational Program of the Council for 2006, which was submitted by the incoming Austrian and Finnish Presidencies.

"The EU will continue to support Ukraine's accession to the WTO, and will look to begin talks on an FTA [Free Trade Area] once Ukraine is a member," the program reads, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
