KIEV, Dec. 29 - The Ukrainian government is ready to urgently sign an agreement with Russia over Russia's electricity supplies at Russia's internal market prices.

"On Saturday Russian mass media reported, citing Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, that Russia is ready to supply electricity to Ukraine from the Russian energy market under favorable conditions, i.e. at the internal Russian prices and without any prepayment," the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Sunday.
