KIEV, Dec. 22 – The Prosecutor General's Office has informed relevant EU agencies over investigations into former authorities, against whom sanctions were imposed by the EU, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Vitaliy Yarema said.
"Today, we are working with the EU and informing them of the actions we're taking. Tomorrow [December 19] we'll hold a meeting with the Prime Minister [Arseniy Yatseniuk] on this issue. Today, the president [Petro Poroshenko] has asked about the course of the investigation and if there will be sanctions," he said in an interview on Channel 5 on December 18.
