KIEV, Dec. 29 ??“ Ukrainian Radio Systems, a small cell phone company that was recently purchased by VimpelCom of Russia, plans to attract $500 million investment within five years for rapid expansion, a company official said.

The investment should help the company, which has less than 100,000 subscribers, to increase the number of clients to 5-6 million by the end of 2008, the company said.
