KIEV, Dec. 8 – Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has assured the European Commission that the Ukrainian energy system is ready to provide for stable natural gas transit, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The report said that Yatseniuk had a phone talk with European Commission Vice President for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic. The parties discussed the top-priorities of cooperation in the energy area, including Ukraine's preparations for the winter period.
