KIEV, Dec. 5 - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden have discussed during a phone conversation the further cooperation between the two countries in the financial and economic sector.
"Vice President Biden announced the readiness of the United States to consider further economic and financial support for Ukraine. The topic of the conversation was also the issue of attracting funds from the International Monetary Fund. The cooperation in the financial sector and economic assistance will be discussed with a delegation from the U.S. Treasury Department in Kiev next week," the presidential press service reported on Thursday evening.
