KIEV, Dec. 1 – Over 50 officials of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been dismissed because of poor performance of duties, but a forthcoming re-assessment may improve this situation, Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak reported.
"We get rid of the people, who worked inefficiently, who delay with taking decisions. Many of them undergo assessments now. And this is just the beginning. On the results of the year, when we'll clearly understand in what way each of them worked, will re-assess the whole management staff of the defense ministry. First of all the deputy ministers will face the assessment," the ministry's press service quotes Poltorak as saying.
