KIEV, Nov. 27 – Citizens of Ukraine wants the country to be united and are against its federalization, President Petro Poroshenko said.
"One hundred percent of Ukrainians now are for a unified state, a unified country. A constitutional majority of Ukrainians see it as a unitary country. No federalization! Poroshenko said in the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday while delivering an extraordinary address on Ukraine's external and domestic situation.
"Some people in eastern or western [Ukraine] are advising federalization. You can advise, but Ukrainians are against it, and we are finally an administration that can hear and carry out the dreams of the people of Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
