KHARKIV, Nov. 27 – Shell has failed to achieve desired progress in the exploration of the Yuzivska shale gas field (Kharkiv and Donetsk regions) due to hostilities in Donbas, VP of Shell's upstream business in Ukraine Graham Tiley said, according to Kharkiv Regional State Administration's press service.

He said that the company was able to launch some activities in Kharkiv region. They included, among other things, environmental and social baseline studies.
