KIEV, Nov. 26 – President Petro Poroshenko during a meeting with Swedish Foreign Affairs Minister Margot Wallstrom thanked the people of Sweden for their support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

Poroshenko said that Wallstrom's visit was "very symbolic" because on Wednesday the Swedish parliament ratified the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. "This event is an expression of solidarity and support to Ukraine from Sweden – the traditional advocate of Ukraine in the European Union. Your country for has been doing much to deepen and step up the European integration of Ukraine," the president said.
