KIEV, Nov. 13 - Poltava Petroleum Company could suspend gas production, CFO Yevhen Palenka told reporters.
He said that cabinet resolution No. 599 passed on November 7 also contains a requirement, according to which private gas producers could be even banned from pumping gas into underground storage facilities.
"According to clause two of the new resolution we could be banned [from pumping gas]. Naftogaz Ukrainy or Ukrtransgaz could block the gas transport system for us, but we need it to pump gas. We will have to suspend production and it is under question to restore it," he said.
