KIEV, Nov. 12 - Steel Mont Trading Ltd. plans to cut coal supplies from South Africa to Ukraine from one million tons to 500,000 tons with the purpose of avoiding reputation risks, Ukrinterenergo state enterprise Director Volodymyr Zinevych told reporters in Kiev on Tuesday.
"We have the specification signed for 500,000 tons. The trader does not want to deal with us. It has to resolve complicated reputation issues with its bank and with other partners… I don't see more than 500,000 [tons] today," he said.
