KIEV, Nov. 11 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture in November revised upwards its forecast for the corn harvest in Ukraine in the 2014/15 agricultural year (July 2014 – June 2015) by 2 million tons, to 27 million tons.
According to its report, gross grain harvest will total 62.29 million tons compared to 60.29 million tons projected in the previous month.
USDA said that the forecast for exports of grain crops in the country will total 29.36 million tons compared to 28.86 million tons projected in October. Exports will grow thanks to a rise in exports of corn by 500 tons.
