BRUSSELS, Nov. 7 - The European Union has taken into consideration Russia's reaction to the so-called elections in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson for EU Vice President and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, said.

Kocijancic pointed to the EU's opinion of these elections as illegal and illegitimate, and which it does not recognize. She reiterated the EU's call on Russia for promoting the implementation of the Minsk Protocol.
