KIEV, Nov. 7 – State coalmines located on the rebel-controlled territories were financed from the national budget in the second and third quarter only after shipment of coal, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.

The ministry said that in the second quarter all 20 state coalmines located in Donetsk and Luhansk regions were operating in the usual regime and the territories where they are located were not seized. A total of 5.814 million tons of run-of-mine coal was extracted over the period, and 3.79 million tons of coal worth UAH 3.033 million were shipped to power plants.
