KIEV, Nov. 7 – NJSC Naftogaz confirms that it has received an invoice from Russia's OAO Gazprom to effect advance payment for Russian gas.

At the same time, the company will transfer advance payment to Gazprom depending on ordered amounts of gas. "The amount and schedule of advance payment depend on how much and when Naftogaz will order gas from Gazprom," the press service said.

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said earlier on Friday that Russia was expecting prepayments from Naftogaz for November the next few days.
