KIEV, Nov. 7 – Ukraine's Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade has satisfied a claim filed by PJSC Dniproazot and launched an antidumping investigation against imports of commercial-grade (grade RD) caustic coda (the UKTVED code in Ukraine's commodity classification for foreign economic activity is 2815 12 00 10) from Russia.
"The claim has got sufficient evidence proving that RD-grade caustic soda from Russia to Ukraine was imported at dumping prices, and the level of the margin of dumping cannot be considered as minimum and imports as small," the commission said in an announcement in the Ukrainian government's Uriadovy Kurier newspaper on Friday.
