LONDON, Dec. 26 ??“ Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko is confident that a year after the Orange Revolution, which brought him to power, Ukraine's democracy is showing results.

Yushchenko's article published by the Financial Times says: "While it is impossible to transform instantaneously a country of 47m, significant and irreversible changes, unthinkable 12 months ago, have been implemented."
