KIEV, Oct. 28 – Avangard, the largest producer of eggs in Ukraine, has sent its first batch of egg products to the European Union.

"There is the first delivery, a small one," chairman of the holding board of directors Oleh Bakhmatiuk said at the investment conference "A Fresh Look at Ukraine" organized by SP Advisors investment company, held in Kiev.

He noted that the quota on duty-free imports to the EU of this category of produce is so small that the company could cover it with a one-month volume of production.
