KIEV, Oct. 14 - Ukraine will postpone the start of the heating season by two weeks in a bid to reduce consumption of natural gas as a gas dispute with Russia, its biggest supplier, continues, the government reported Tuesday.

Ukraine will begin the heating season on November 1 rather than October 15, Andriy Belousov, deputy minister for regional development, construction and utilities, said in a statement.
