Ukraine's monetary base rose by 2.9% last month, NBU reports

KIEV, Oct. 13 – The monetary base in Ukraine in September rose by 2.9% (since the start of the year by 14.4%), to UAH 351.4 billion, money supply decreased by 2.2% (from the beginning of the year it increased by 9.1%), to UAH 991.9 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

According to the report, the volume of cash outside banks in September decreased by 0.3% (from the beginning of the year it increased by 21.5%), to UAH 288.9 billion.
