KIEV, Oct. 9 - Ukraine suspended power exports to Belarus on October 1 amid looming shortage of power for domestic consumers, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said Thursday.

He said power exports to the European Union may also be reduced as two power generation units at Burshtyn power plant have already switched to supply power to Ukrainian power grid.
