KIEV, Sept. 30 - Starting September 27, Ukrainian Customs on the border with Russia in Crimea has introduced international border controls.
"Starting from midnight September 27, Ukrainian Customs has been operating on the border in Kherson region and Crimea… in a mode corresponding to the functioning of international checkpoints. A relevant declaration is to be filed for the goods moving to and from Crimea. If they are moving to Crimea, it will be an export declaration as in the case of export in a free economic zone. If the goods are moving from Crimea, it will be a Ukrainian import declaration," deputy chief of Ukraine's State Fiscal Service (GFS) Anatoliy Makarenko told a press conference in Kiev on Tuesday.
