KIEV, Sept. 26 – Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the European Union must immediately convene a meeting to elaborate a single energy policy, in particular, regarding a possibility of reverse gas supplies to Ukraine.
"After Russia violated all possible agreements and the main one – breached the rules of functioning of the European energy market switching off gas supplies to the EU - I think that the EU must urgently convene a meeting and to give a single coordinated position of all EU member states and not permit Russia's Gazprom to blackmail Europe and Ukraine," he told the journalists at Boryspil airport on Friday being asked to comment on Hungary's refusal to ship gas to Ukraine.
