KIEV, Sept. 24 – Delta Bank's attempt to buy Universal Bank, a subsidiary of Greek-based Eurobank Group, due to rejection of the move by Ukrainian authorities, Universal Bank said in a report.

"All the previous agreements with the shareholders of Delta Bank were canceled by Eurobank Group due to the inability of the potential buyer to obtain a relevant permit from the regulatory authorities of Ukraine," the report said.
