KIEV, Dec. 20 - The trade union at Ukraine's largest steel mill Kryvorizhstal is demanding that new company owner Mittal Steel increase wages in accordance with the obligations it has shouldered.

The trade union is preparing a protest demonstration over Mittal Steel's failure to fulfill its social obligations, which will take place in Kryvy Rih on Dec. 23, the Central Committee of Ukraine's Trade Union of Metallurgists and Miners said in a release carried by Interfax-Ukraine.
